I used to work for Jamba Juice so I have a weird life long love of smoothies!
My Daily Healthy Protein Smoothie:
- Strawberries - a small handful
(fresh, frozen, or bought when they were super cheap, washed, cut, and then frozen)
- Banana - 1
(fresh, frozen, or bought by my dad by the truckload to freeze)
- Milk - Few ounces-ish?
(The less you put, the thicker it gets. But the less you put the more you have to slam the blender down on the table to get it to blend!)
(2% but 5% is YUMMM! Or you can do whatever. It's your smoothie)
- Nut Butter - 1 teaspoon-ish (peanut butter or almond butter works great! I use creamy, not crunchy.)
How do we make this already deliciously healthy smoothie takes like pure guilt minus the guilt?
The secret ingredient...
Just add a couple of Oreos! (or the whole package, whatever makes you feel good!) It has that cookies and cream taste without the guilt!
